Acclaim

I’m very proud of the critical attention the Third Edition (2005) received. Here are just a few of the things I can relate:

• The MLB Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY requested copies for their research library and awarded me a lifetime membership for my work in research. They occasionally contact me for specific uniform related research inquiries and I’m glad to help.
• Licensed makers of uniforms for MLB, Majestic (game uniforms, batting jerseys and many Turn Back the Clock Uniforms) and Mitchell & Ness (famous makers of Turn Back the Clock and nostalgia uniforms) purchased my research and used it to create more faithful reproductions of old uniforms for on-field use in Turn Back the Clock games.
• The Guide was reviewed favorably in USA Today’s Sports Weekly and on ESPN.COM by sports uniform expert Paul Lukas.
• I was interviewed on Canadian radio on the topic of baseball uniform authentication.
• I’ve received hundreds of kind personal letters from many readers who offered new information and photographs of items from their personal collections.
